Scenario
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discovering if their relationship survive their wildly different lives and meddling families.. Originally titled "Shiksa", which is also the last word said in the first episode.. I've just binge watched the series. Genuinely funny, and captured many essences of Jewish family life. Cleverly done, with great characters and acting. Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and the other key characters were great, particularly Noah's Mum (the quintessential Jewish matriarch), Joanne's sister, Noah's brother Sacha, and Sacha's wife. Really hope there's a Season 2 to explore Joanne & Noah's relationship further, and see what the future holds for both of them personally and in their careers. I feel there is room for character development for both of Joanne's parents, especially her relationship with her father.
